Terms of Service

By using PSX Analyst(the “Service”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the Service. If you are using it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for that organisation.

PSX Analyst is a research and information tool covering the Pakistan Stock Exchange. It retrieves public market data and company filings, answers questions about them, and provides a simulated trading account for practice and measurement.

We may change, suspend or withdraw features at any time. We try not to break things people depend on, but the Service is provided as it is at the moment you use it.

Nothing produced by the Service is a recommendation, solicitation or offer to buy or sell any security, nor an opinion on whether any investment is suitable for you. We do not know your financial circumstances, objectives, tax position or risk tolerance, and no output takes them into account.

We are not a registered investment adviser, broker, dealer or research analyst. Before acting on anything you read here, consult an advisor licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, and comply with all applicable SECP and PSX regulations.

Any decision you make with your money is yours.

The portfolio and order features are a simulation. No real order is ever placed, no security is bought or sold, and no money moves. The Service has no connection to any broker or exchange execution system.

Simulated results are not a prediction of real results. A simulation cannot reproduce liquidity, partial fills, market impact, queue position, outages, or the way a person behaves when the money is real. Treat a paper return as an illustration of a method, never as a track record.

Market data and filing information come from third-party and public sources. We do not guarantee that any figure is accurate, complete, current or fit for any purpose. Data may be delayed, revised at source, or simply wrong.

The Service uses automated language models to compose answers. It checks those answers against the data it retrieved, but automated checking is not a guarantee of correctness. Verify anything that matters against the original filing or the exchange itself before relying on it. If you find something wrong, tell us at Ahmedtaufiq@outlook.com.

Some features require an account, and accounts may require approval before they are enabled. You agree to give accurate registration details, to keep your credentials to yourself, and to tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that we are required to close, or that is being used in a way that threatens the Service or other users.

You agree not to:

• scrape, bulk-download or systematically extract data from the Service, or resell its output as a data feed;
• use it to manipulate a market, to publish anything presented as licensed investment advice, or for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to access another user’s account, portfolio or conversation history;
• probe, overload or interfere with the Service, or circumvent any rate limit or access control;
• misrepresent an output of the Service as the opinion of a licensed professional.

The Service, its software, design and written content are owned by PSX Analyst or its licensors. Underlying market data and company filings belong to their respective owners, including the Pakistan Stock Exchange and the filing companies; nothing here transfers any right in them to you.

The questions you ask and the notes you save remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the Service, meaning the right to process, store and transmit that content so it can answer you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

You may quote our articles with attribution and a link. You may not republish them wholesale.

The Service relies on third-party providers for authentication, language models, search and monitoring, and public pages may display advertising served by third parties including Google. We do not control third-party content or advertisements and do not endorse them. What those parties collect is described in the Privacy Policy.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PSX Analyst and the people who work on it are not liable for any trading or investment loss, lost profit, lost data, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, or from your inability to use it, whether or not we were advised such damage was possible.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed substantively, and continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms. For a significant change we will make a reasonable effort to tell account holders directly.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
